No plug and play, an adaptor needs to be made for the rotor, but no great problems with that. Optically very similar and quite a lot cheaper (better: less excessive expensive). As a sidenote: The rotor of the Alfa Romeo Montreal does not fit (in contrast to some internet and dealer representations), they look exactly the same but the Monti rotor is a few mm shorter.

The Parvalux PM8 with 4000 rpm is a usable substitute, both with respect to mechanical fit, electrical properties and function (speed of raising or lowering the lid) . The engine needs minor mechanical adaptation and then is a good replacement, thereby leving the option of retrofitting the original device.

Often the frames of the rocker switches are broken. They are identical with the switch frames used in the Fiat 124 Sport or Fiat Dino 2,4. Reproductions are available in the meanwhile, in chrome, black or brown. Obtainable from various suppliers of Fiat classic car parts. Attention: the switches fit into the frame in one orientation only. The actual switches can be reconditioned as long as nothing melted, since they can be dissassembled. If doing so, observe that the rockers can be assembled in one orientation only as well.
